HELLO ! History channel is back here :D 

I shall start with this picture :

WHAT IS THIS ?
-Well this is a ration card .

RATION CARD :
-Which limits the amount of food each person collects .
-Limits the amount of food for each person were given out .

OK ! Lets start with the topic of BLACK MARKET .

WHAT IS BLACK MARKET ?
-If a person wanted milk powder from a shop , the shopkeeper would say he had none . But if one was prepared to pay a very high price , the shopkeeper would know where to get it - this is known as black market .

• They have this because they are having shortage of food like rice ,salt , sugar  because all of this controlled by the ration card . 

• They even made banana notes which have pictures of banana tree or other fruits on it . it is printed on low quality paper and have no serial number . As a result ,they were lots of banana notes and value dropped .
